Pyrography on a wooden cutting board

The wood pyrography workshop is an opportunity to discover the art of “drawing with fire” and create your own personalized decorations. We’ll start with some simple exercises on a wooden board, designed to help you become familiar with the pyrography tool, learn how to use different tips, and discover the characteristics of various types of wood.

We’ll then move on to decorating your cutting board, which you can personalize by choosing from a selection of designs. I’ll guide you step by step through transferring the design onto the wood and enriching it with lines, details, and techniques, experimenting with different strokes and textures in a creative way.

All materials are provided. At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own pyrographed cutting board, along with a PDF containing tips and suggestions to help you continue experimenting with pyrography.

It will be a relaxing, hands-on and sensory experience, combining the scent of wood, the warmth of the pyrography tool, and the pleasure of creating something with your own hands.

The duration of the workshop varies depending on each participant’s pace, so you can take your time and enjoy every step of the process.
